I can’t stop singing this song! Fun.nest in the car alone or with friends.

Also, I watched “Chronicle” and it was good. If you love a superhero-ish origin story, you should check it out too. You’ll feel like flying afterward!

Amy Poehler is quite possibly my favourite comedienne of all time. (Don’t be surprised if there’s more about her in the future.) You may know her from her magnificently funny show Parks and Recreation and Saturday Night Live, both of which rank in my top list of telly-tubey (not to be confused with Teletubby) things I love. Not only is she a mother of two, married to Will Arnett, bi-coastal (LA when working, but NY is home. This is important because it’s my dream.), she’s hilarious (all you have to do is YouTube her name and you have hours of laughter), and oh-holey-swiss-cheese Amy can rap!

One of my favourites was when she did this Sarah Palin rap sketch on Weekend Update. She was so absolutely ready to give birth but she nails this! From the opening countdown to the last shot fired, this is gold:

Here’s another! It’s from when she was on Comedy Bang! Bang! with Scott Aukerman and Adam Pally. (Liz, this is for you!)

{ Haha!LOLz!Hahaha! No.2 }

I’m pretty sure that Charlize Theron is my LA angel. (Don’t we all wish we were so lucky?) I see her everywhere. Coffee, shopping, cafes… And, no surprise, she’s GORGEOUS make-up-less and in-person. But here’s the rub for being this gorgeous lady — your real-person beauty is expounded exponentially with millions of dollars of styling. This is why I love this article about the actual cost of sending celebs down the runway:

Total “cost” . . . . . . . . . $8,079,905
Cost to Theron . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $0

For a real person to buy Theron’s Golden Globe ensemble, the cost would be a good eight MILL. The only way I can imagine that amount is by picturing just that top swimmable layer of gold coins in Scrooge McDuck’s moneybin.

Today is my oldest brother’s birthday! Look at us, all cute and stuff, back in Hong Kong sittin’ on some steps, in our sweats rockin’ some cotton vests. That was the jam in HK. We were the jam – nay, we ARE the jam.

Happy Birthday, Eddie-o! Hope it is filled with laughter, friends, baseball, and wibly-wobbly-timey-whimey machines.

Here’s another craft project I embarked on over the holidays and have just gotten around to posting. I wanted some good little kitchen cloths to have around, so I found this check pattern and now they’re just hanging around my kitchen on their little fluorescent coloured ribbons.
